must have been quite some time ago, we have made great strides in keeping the quarter much cleaner (except during mardi gras, only so much we can do). They pressure wash the streets twice a week now, and use a scented water/cleaner combination that breaks down much of the smell-generating bacteria.

I would be fair then and try it again. The architecture is awesome. It was just the stench that bothered me.

Way, way south.
NOLA has a unique vibe, which I really like, as well as the amazing restaurants. I could never live there, but I totally enjoy going there occasionally for business and exploring the city.

I would never want to be there for MG, never.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
Many areas of the city are untouched by Mardi Gras, as long as you stay away from the French Quarter and parade routes, you'd never know it was going on. It is an amazing city...and while I live in the suburbs, MsGilmore and I enjoy playing tourist in it as much as time allows...awesome restaurants, great places to see, we love just driving around admiring the beautiful homes

Oh, I love New Orleans and specifically Bourbon Street. I can't say that I don't like any city that I have been to. I tend to find something fun or funny everywhere I go...just saying. wink

I could go to Drago's and eat the Charbroil Oysters everyday. They are awesome.

My Dad is from K-Falls and I still have family there. I have to agree with you on that one, never have found anything to enjoy about it.

Klamath Falls is hardly what I would call a city. What are there, like 4 stop lights?
