Our marketing department is creating take-ones for our credit card products. It is just your basic ad (not an application). An intro-rate is listed requiring the rate or range of rates that will apply after the intro period expires. To avoid the printed ads becoming trash when and if the prime rate changes, they would like to list the range as margins over prime ("Prime Rate + 5.90% - 7.90% based on your credit history) rather than the actual rates. I can't find where this would be strictly prohibited, but I'm not sure it will fly either. Thoughts?

I'd be interested, also, 'tryit' as we are just begging a new card rollout, after clsing the previous card program through a common national 3rd-party. VISA this time, not MC. Maybe this will 'bump up' your question!

Suppose you just say...'call today to see if our rate isn't significantly better than your current rate." Curiosity Killed The Cat......
