If a facility was approved as under $1MM, then increased to over $1MM with new note, then is later REDUCED to under $1MM with another note, which should we report? The less than 1MM notes? None? The borrower received the increase due to seasonal borrowing.

If the increase puts the loan above 1MM, I wouldn't report it.

Unless the decrease note is a renewal that extends the maturity date, I would not report that either as no new credit has been extended.

You could report the original of under $1MM, assuming this all happened in one year.

The bank made a loan of less than/= $1MM...that is reportable. The increase that took it over $1MM would not be reportable and the 2nd change would not be reportable in my opinion because it is a second renewal in the calendar and you get one if there is an increase (but not over $1MM).
