Self service is not legal in OR. Every time the legislature considers a bill to make it legal, people get up in arms about what all the out of work gas station attendants will do. Originally it was a safety thing . . . now it's just a thing.
When I filled up on Saturday, it was about $3.60. According to the newspaper last week, OR is the 9th most expensive for average gas prices in the nation. Dang, cross Oregon off the list.

Gas at our local station was $3.04 yesterday and this morning on the one of the national morning shows they announced that the national ave price per gallon was $3.15. When I got to the gas station this morning price of gas had gone up to $3.15. I wondered if this was a coincidence.
