Is there any such thing as a UCC 4A disclosure? Our marketing department says these are required disclosures that must be sent to our customers. I'm not sure I know exactly what they are talking about. Can anyone help me??????? Thanks!!

UCC 4A disclosures are given to commercial customers once in the life of the account. Ours is titled "Disclosures Regarding Electroning 'Wholesale Credit' Transactions Subject to Uniform Commecial Code 4A" and was purchsed from MPX.

The topics covered are provisional payment, notice of receipt of entry and choice of law.

You might want to "notice" consumer customers who operate Avon etc businesses out of their consumer accounts.

Can someone provide a direct link stating that this disclosure must be given to commercial customers? It would be a huge help!

I cannot provide a direct link. However, dig out your copy of the NACHA rules and go to subsections 2.1.7 and 2.1.8 of the Operating Rules.
