I always go way overboard on Thanksgiving even though it's just my husband and me. I cook a 15lb turkey, mashed potatoes, broccoli/cheese/rice casserole, dinner rolls, Green River (green jello with sliced pears), stuffing, gravy, homemade pumpkin pie, and a veggie tray that is cut up like flowers/animals.
I love cooking and he always tells me what he'd pay for my food if we were at a restaurant. My Thanksgiving feast is always around $50 a plate.
