It's time to do our periodic poll on the display settings being used by BOLers
Don't know what your display is set to? Go to Settings/Control Panel, click on Display, then click on the tab within Display that says "Settings" and observe what the numbers are.

Sorry, no can do. They've disabled our display so that it cannot be changed. I can say that it is whatever is required for BankersEdge internet training.

You can also find out this information without going throught the Control Panel. Minimize all of your programs and right-click anywhere on the desktop screen. Select "Properties" from the menu and then "Settings".

Off topic: I know there are valid reasons for that. But it would bug me to no end to have such little control over my main tool for doing my job. Just for fun, call them and say "hey guys, I connected this Linksys wireless router from Best Buy and now for $50 I can use my personal laptop all around the office. It even goes through my desktop PC to the mainframe". Oh the fun you can have with that.

my it department just sent me an email telling me my password (which they put in the email) was too easy to figure out. Now what if my admin was reading my email while I'm on vacation???? She'd now have my password. Sheesh!

Andy, it appears that others are able to vote, but not me. All I see are the results and not the voting buttons. What's up with that? (In point and click speak please, I'm no teckie.) Or am I being the "stepchild" on this thread? Thanks,

I also see only the results. That is because I voted. I would assume you did to. If you didn't, a) I don't know why you can't and b) if you want to vote repeatedly, several political candidates want you on their side.

Do you know the way to ...

Soccermom - I can only take a guess at this, and maybe a BOL'er will confirm... the votes may be tracked by IP address. If so, someone at your company may have already voted, and that IP address would then be locked out for allowing any more votes. Just a wild guess...

Why are so many bankers restricted to 8X6 monitor resolutions? When I moved up to a 17" monitor and switched from 8X6 to 10X8, I found I could work faster because I wasn't spending so much time scrolling around the screen.
