Does anyone know if someone is able to get any specific HMDA certifications to show the expertise and speciality of that area?

No I do not, but I would be interested to find that out.

I assume you have an auditor or examiner asking for this? I would just show the training records for the folks involved with HMDA at your bank to document sufficient knowledge and education. I've never heard of a "Certified" HMDA specialist but then these days I'm not surprised at anything auditors and examiners ask for. There might be a special certification for that but I just haven't run across it.
