Agree on the shake method.
Yeast rolls dipped in 'nilla icecream is also really yummy.
I also like my fries dipped in mustard.

Ketchup/Mayo combo or sour cream or ranch dressing for fries. Depends on my mood and the quality of ranch dressing available.

Cheese fried dipped in ranch dressing! Eskimo Joes style! Mum, did you have to sneak in, incognito, to eat in (gasp) Stillwater!?! I love those dang fries at Joes too!

But a chocolate shake is still the best place to dip a fry. My mom does this....

One of my quirks is I have to count things. Like when I stir a glass of iced tea I count the number of revolutions I make with the spoon. I don't have any set number, I just count for some reason. Or if I am walking along a sidewalk I try to determine how many steps I can take within a section of concrete without stepping on a crack. I am not superstitious... but my Mom's back is not broken either!

And when the sharknado happens, you'll have the perfect weapon. If you have a chainsaw, that is.

There are two sets of stairs to get from the first floor to the second here, each broken into two sets with a landing.
The back set has 11 steps in each flight. The main set has 11 in the first flight, and 10 in the second.
This bothers me more than it should.

Put in a capital request for removal of 1 step from the back step. Fixed

How much should it bother you? How do you know?

This bothers me more than it should. That would bother me as well.

Put in a capital request for removal of 1 step from the back step. Fixed Actually, as part of the renovation we're going through, the main set will be torn out. So I should check the plans and see if they're going to make the steps correctly this time! This may make it all better for me.

What if 10 and 11 are correct? Anarchist. No, the two sets should have an equal number of stairs, and be consistent with the other stairs! Given that we're going from straight to a sharp turn at the landing to conserve space, the resulting change in the angle of the stairs should put us at 11 & 11 and will be right with the world.

How can any of this be right when you have two sets they are stairs and when you have one it is still stairs?

The correct number of steps is dependent on the high of the ceiling and the building code So since they are remodeling anyway find a regulatory cite for the number of step required for the height of your ceiling/floor (see where I am going with this). Then insist that they move the ceiling/floor to conform to the code and the number of steps that you wish.
