On the HUD, should we list the fee to record the power of attorney on line 1201, 1206 or in the 1300 series.

In the past we have listed it under 1206, but we just received one from a settlement agent where it is listed in line 1201.

Why would a government recording charge ever go in the 1300 series?? Is it just an attachment to the deed of trust, etc? It could go in either line of the 1200 series.

Around here it's optional to record a POA and it is a freestanding document. So the recording fee for it would go on 1206.
fwiw, if the 1200 series is full, we would put this in the 1300/additional settlement charges section.
