I'm just noticing that we have individual originators NMLS numbers on our letterheads and business cards but we do not have the institutions NMLS # on any of the preprinted letterheads or cards.

I can't find where that's required but I can't find where the individual originators NMLS numbers are required either. I can only find where the unique identifiers are required on loan documents. Is that the case?

Part 1007.105 Use of unique identifier.






(a) The covered financial institution shall make the unique identifier(s) of its registered mortgage loan originator(s) available to consumers in a manner and method practicable to the institution.

(b) A registered mortgage loan originator shall provide his or her unique identifier to a consumer:

(1) Upon request;

(2) Before acting as a mortgage loan originator; and

(3) Through the originator's initial written communication with a consumer, if any, whether on paper or electronically.

So we're ok not having the Institutions Unique Identifier on anything it look like!
