We attempted to submit our 2019 HMDA LAR yesterday, and received a validity error S303. We changed regulators during 2019, and are wondering if this is the issue. We reported a 2 for Federal Agency, the validity error says it expected a 3. Should we report under the FDIC for the year even though we switched in spring 2019 to the FRB? Our LEI shouldn't change, but would the ULI change with switching regulators?

I had the same issue as we changed regulators mid-year 2019. You need to email the CFPB HMDA Help and they will have to update your profile before you can move forward and file your LAR.

Thank you for your help! We had reached out to the CFPB and our new regulator, but still had not found a solution. The CFPB did assign a case number yesterday, but that's as far as we got. How long did it take the CFPB to update your profile?

The response was really fast, within one day of receiving a case number the CFPB had updated our profile and I received notice that we could file our report. Easy-peasy. -:)
