Would record retention for health savings accounts be any different from record retention for deposit accounts? I have tried to search state law but cannot find anything stating record retention for HSA's. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I cannot locate any specific record retention requirements over and above normal deposit account retention requirements that would apply to the custodian.

Probably not helpful for the FI serving as custodian, but HSA beneficiary record retention is 3 years after tax filing or account termination.
