Good Morning! I am reviewing an account and there are several deposits with the description "MISC PAY APA TREAS". There are 26 deposits total on 6 different dates. There are multiple deposits for the same amount on each of the dates. The amounts of each transaction range from $89 to $16k. Has anyone else seen this? Do you know what this is? Any help is appreciated!

A Google search produced a lot of varied responses. The one that seemed most likely to be correct was the the payments are for interest on government securities held in a Treasury Direct account.
