I'm so sorry for this latest bad news, and hope it won't be long before the next transplant is behind you.

I am a new poster to BOL, and still don't do that much. However, I am a long time lurker, and have kept up on Natalie. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I have tears in my eyes from reading your last post and Natalie thinking of her dr with a hurt foot. That not only says a lot about the kind of child Natalie is, but also speaks volumes about you mom. You are an example to all of us on how to raise a child right.

Oh, Becca, I'm so very sorry to hear this latest news. I will continue to keep Natalie and your family in my prayers. I know your faith is strong, so just keep leaning on Him.

Sitting at my desk is not the best place to cry but I am. I cannot imagine what you are going through.

Please don't worry about us and roller coasters. As is often pointed out on these threads, no one is forcing us to read or post here. Over the last 47 pages of posts and months of time we've all come to love Natalie and made her our own Bear too. We're invested because we want to be. You and your daughter have given us all so much through your examples of love and strength and faith.

My prayers continue.

Like so many others, I don't post too terribly often on here.. I do always keep up with Natalie Bear.. always anxious to read that next update. She's such an amazing little girl (with amazing parents). In my eyes, all kids are miracles, but God reserves some of his most special miracles for very special people. What an honor to have one of those miracles.

Coming from the aunt of a little girl with a donor pulminary valve (who is about to face yet another heart cath & possibly a stint), I know how nauseating reports like that can be. You have so many people who love you, and I know how comforting it is/must be to know that God is on your side. I don't have children yet, so I can't pretend to know what it feels like from a mother's perspective... What I can do is constantly pray for Natalie Bear, you, your hubby, & your family.

Becca, I am so very sorry for this setback. My heart is breaking for all of you. My prayers are all that I can offer, adding them to the rest. Let them lift you and your spirit along with Natalie.

Becca, while this may not be the best news, at least they have finally made a decision and can get on with it. We just need to sell lots of cookbooks. Go help the Bear color the get well picture and enjoy you beautiful daughter. With all of us praying and sending positive thoughts your way you don't have anything to worry about.

Like KC Cane Corsos and Ops, I too don't post very often but do check-in frequently to see how Natalie is doing. I think that Truffle Royal said it the best; "we are all invested". We all want to give all the support and prayer possible for Natalie and her wonderful parents. Thank-you so much for giving us updates, even the hard ones, and sharing your most heartfelt thoughts and feelings.

Oh Becca, I'm so sorry. I know this isn't what you wanted, but maybe it's for the best - the shunt doesn't sound like a viable option at this point. I'm just so sorry y'all have to even think about this.

Oh Becca I am so sorry to read this news. Please know that you and your precious little one are in my prayers and a copy of the picture of her in the dress for the wedding in on the board above my computer at work, so I can send God short little "prayerlets".

Becca, I agree with all of the above posts. Little Bear is in my heart, as well - and I will keep her in my prayers for a perfect donor, perfect transplant, and some amazing healing.

Like so many others, my prayers for this perfect little child will continue. No matter what happens down the road, God has used your family and your little girl to show others what love is all about. Oh Becca, I hated to read that news. I don't get a chance to post often, but I hope you know that you are my hero...and little Bear is my heroette You hold a special place in my prayers...and while I will always have room for your family there, I'd love to hear someday that we can quit praying for you, and start planning on your visit to see the polar bears with our darlings.

Have you ever heard, "A dream is a wish your heart makes?"

Well Natalie's dream of seeing "Dolphins, and Whales, and Mickey Mouse, and oh, yeah, Minnie too," is about to come true!

On Monday November 6th Make a Wish will be sending a limo to pick Natalie (and her parents) up and take them to O'Hare Airport, where they will board a plane for Orlando!! This is one amazing organization. And the smile that comes to my child's face when we talk about her "dream", well it causes my heart to swell.

We will go for 6 days and Stay at Give Kids the World. I honestly believe that the founders of this place are heaven sent. We will get 3 days of Disney Park Hopper Passes, 2 days to Universal Studios, and 1 Day to Sea World.

(And we're going to meet a liver buddy Aiden - I write about him sometimes on my website.) Natalie has a new pink suitcase that she is "helping" to pack.

I just wanted to give you all some uplifting news, about us, in the midst of all of this re-listing, re-transplant stuff.
