Is it just me or does anyone else get the "I don't wanna' do anything at work on Friday" sickness? (especially before a long weekend)

I REALLY have "the bug" today.

I have it so bad...I took the day off!

That is definitely me today. I was up with my son at 4:00 this morning and I never got to go back to sleep. It's been a long morning for me. :yawn:

I'm with you. I just wanted to stay in my pj's and play with my girls today!

Definitely me, esp as I'm only working half the day anyway.

Because of all the rain everyone has felt that way for at least a week. Today a lot of people took as vacation.

I said that when I walked in this morning. We are missing 1/2 of our staff so I decided I would deal only with the emergencies that come up (and they always do) and that is it. So far so good!! I have ZERO motivation to accomplish anything. I think I had it set in my head all week though, I caught up everything so I had nothing on my desk waiting this morning.

Here in body, but not mind or spirit! Definitely no motivation....cannot concentrate....cannot function....

Just killing time until 5:00 p.m. and then I'm on vacation for a week. Presently, the phone is my enemy because phone calls generally announce disaster.

Leaving in the morning for the junior college world series. We have a very good friend playing. Please pray for convenient rain, safe travel and no injuries for any of the players. A few wins and an honorable finish would be great too!!!!

I did pretty well this morning but when I got back from lunch, I was running a DWTW fever. So here I am talking with my friends about nekkid men running in the park.
