Thickish envelope, 4 pages enclosed. My first thought when I saw the thickness of theenvelope was that it was a decline letter with some re-apply information attached.

For the same reason an accountant includes "CPA" in his/her signature, business card, etc. It is a certification that sets you apart from the others in your field of expertise.
**I am in no way comparing the difficulty of the 2 certifications, I am only using the CPA for an example.

I have a certification of Certified Internal Auditor or CIA.
I never wanted that on my business card, t-shirt, underwear, etc. particularly in the years I was doing alot of international traveling.
