The only great recipe I have to share is my corn casserole. If you want that let me know and I'll bring it in tomorrow.

Macaroni and Cheese in a Crock Pot

1 - 8oz pkg. macaroni, cooked
2 - tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups milk
1 - 13oz can evaporated milk
3 cups cubed Velveeta cheese
1 tsp. salt

Cook and drain macaroni. Toss in cooking oil. Pour into greased crock pot. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.

DEE-LISH!!! as Rachel Ray would say...

The degree symbol is made by holding down the alt key and pressing 2, 4 and 8 on the number key pad. Hope that helps.

As far as Thanksgiving plans, I will be having the traditional fare with turkey, candied sweet potatoes and elena's corn santa fe recipe. I can't wait! Then after dinner, the kids and I will decorate the christmas tree.

First off, first official post!

Now i'm the one that gonna fry the turkey with my dad. It's allmost to easy, if you have the stuff. Get one of the injectable marinade kits(the one with the syringe). Inject the fire out of the turkey, and once you get the oil up to temp, it's just 3&1/2 minutes per pound of turkey. Oh my goodness, it's the best part of my Thanksgiving.

p.s. sorry zguy but i took the idea for my screen name after yours but i thought another nissan guy wouldn't mind.

Corn Pudding

1 can (about 15 ounces) whole kernel corn
2 cans (about 15 ounces) cream style corn
5 slightly beaten eggs
½ cup sugar
4 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 ½ teaspoons seasoned salt
½ teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
½ cup milk
½ cup melted margarine

Combine corn and eggs. Add the sugar, cornstarch, seasoned salt, mustard and onion. Stir in the milk and margarine. Pour into a greased three quart (9"x13") quart casserole. Bake in a 400 degree oven for one hour, stirring once.

So yummy. Enjoy.

Every year, something would be forgotten to be put out. One year, we put the broccoli casserole in the microwave to rewarm it, and forgot to serve it. Another year, we put a cold salad on the porch to keep cool, since there was no more room in the frige, and remembered it after everyone was full.

I guess that means...we have way too much food! If you can still be stuffed and have tons of leftovers without serving a dish, it is just too much!

Oh, but what wonderful meals the days after Thanksgiving. That's the best part!

We're heading down south to be with my son and his family this Thanksgiving. I get to hug that grandchild of mine and give him lots and lots of messy kisses. I can't wait. Especially also because my son is a very good cook(no he didn't learn it from me but from my stepdad) and I only have to bring the dinner rolls! You can't beat that. I love it.
