We are doing a "blind box" advertisement in the local newspaper advertising a job listing. The bank's name will not be used; therefore, I believe we do not need any of the triggering term items such as Member FDIC. Is this correct?

What about listing "Equal Opportunity Employer" although the bank (employer) is not listed in the ad? Is this maybe a good best practices event?

It will be funny if you have people from your own bank applying for the position

I don't know what is funny about that. We would welcome someone from our bank applying for the job. In fact, it is listed internally, too. ???

To answer your questions in a serious nature, I believe that EOE would be appropriate, but FDIC would not be needed (since you are not advertising any deposit products).

Thank you for your response. This was my thinking also.
