Wednesday is my last day at work for the year. I head north for his family Christmas on Wed, home for my family Christmas on Fri, another party on Mon, some doctor's appointments Tues and MOML's board meeting Wed, then off to sunny Florida til April.  I will check in on the cooler from time to time while in Dixie, but I probably won't get to it until after Christmas. So, in case I get busy over the next couple of days and don't get to say it, I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and Happy Holidays, whatever you may celebrate!

Thank you all for your well wishes! We are driving a new route, since Chicago is under construction, so we will have different scenery until we reach Nashville. I am looking forward to getting back into training - I haven't run much in the winter weather and haven't cycled since October. And we need to get in shape for the Gasparilla Classic 15K in Tampa this February.

Usually not on the same weekend as the run. Gasparilla Pirate Fest usually starts the week before.
I am a little bummed because, this year, the Gasparilla Classic in Tampa is the same day as the Edison Fesitval 5K in Ft. Myers. I like to go to both, but in one day? I don't think I will be able to get out of the car!
