I think I have the only freeway commute in San Diego that doesn't get congested (unless there's an accident). 13 miles to work in 20 minutes...and I work downtown!

I commute 25 miles each way. I drive a pickup 4x4, so it runs me approx. $65.00 each week for work, more if I travel anywhere on the weekend.

I used to put about $100 in my tank weekly (had several branches throughout a metro area assigned to me). About a year ago, I took this job, partially because of the commute (or lack thereof). I now get to work in 6 minutes. YAY!!

I work 5.1 miles one way from home. That, along with my 4 cyl. vehicle, lowers my gas consumption to about 33.00 every two weeks...if I drive a considerable amount besides to and from work...

I recently moved 3 blocks from work (I used to have a whopping 7 minute commute(, and if I didn't have to go to branches once in awhile, I would walk to work. I can't even finish a cigarette on my commute!

My ride is 25 miles each way, all highway. Gas runs $35-40 per week, no tolls.

I have a 1.75 mile commute, I think I can actually ride it faster on my bicycle than I can drive it in my truck!

I work 40 miles from home; spend one hour each way on highways and toll roads; spend $70-$75 a week in gas, and about $5 in tolls........and I used to be 4 miles from home and went home for lunch!
But.....I love my paycheck; I love my paycheck; I love my paycheck.

I work 51.8 miles from home, and hit about 3 tolls, and drive a Mustang (~26mpg). I spend atleast $500/month on gas, tolls, and oil changes. I even drive around for work too (but I can expense that).
I've been trying to move closer since April, hopefully the house will sell soon. Just got my first offer on Friday (yes, after all that time) - too bad I was low-balled big time. (jerk)
I'm to the point where I would take a small loss on my house, just because of the gas that I waste. I'd rather spend that money on a mortgage for a new place.

I'm about 25 miles (mostly highway) each way, and spend about $35-$45 a week on gas. Traffic can really stink though, so there are days when it takes an hour to go home.

11 miles one way / takes about 15-20 minutes if I go the speed limit. I spend $10-$15 on gas each week.

About three quarters of a mile for me, takes 10 minutes or so to walk it. Zero expenses, keeps me in shape. Woot!

4 miles and it takes me about 10 minutes. My town is only 100,000, though.

4.5 miles - I just checked it on Google maps. On a bad day it takes me 15 minutes, on good days, 6. Although during a snow storm last year it took me an hour. People in PA don't drive well in poor weather.
