I have a few FDIC Logo compliance questions:

1. With regards to the reg that the logo does not have to be on business cards, envelopes, etc., does this mean that we can exhaust our supplies of old envelopes that have the old seal on them even after the deadline to switch over?

2. Related to the above, if we have services listed on the envelope, does that make any difference for the exemption? Would we then be required to include the FDIC logo?

Thank you!!!

1. Opinion only, I'd say if it doesn't have to be there, there is no harm is disclosing the old logo as it is not misleading in any way. But I haven't seen any official interpretation on that.

2. If your envelopes are offering deposit products to a customer not having that product, yes, you should have the new logo because in this case it is required. If it is required, it should be correct.
