I need some help.

I am trying to get excel to take one "master List" on sheet "Master List" and break it up into 5 other sheets based on a numerical value in column F. SO if the value in column F for Row 1 is "1," then the entire row would be copied to sheet 1. If the value in column F for Row 2 is "4" then the entire row 2 would be copied to sheet 4 etc...

If anybody could help or direct me to a place with an answer I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks

Look at Help for Creating a link in a different workbook. Pay particular attention to the "=" comment. This might be what you are looking for.
Good luck.

This may not be the easiest way but here is my thought.

Use Data - Piviot Table and let the wizard walk you through setting up a "Summary Table". An example is you have a list of loan originations and you want the info by loan type for each officer - drag & drop officer as the row header & then the same with loan type as the column header & then orig amount in the data portion of the table. Your pivot table would show a row for each officer with each type of loan as a diff column & give $ volume in each type for the officer.
Put the column header you want to key off of as a column header for the pivot table and select anything to go in the data portion of the table = BECAUSE you are just going to use this table to get to what you want.

Once the pivot table is created you can double click on a section of the table - for example the row with 4 in the column you are concerned with AND excel will extract all info with a value of 4 and put them into a new worksheet / tab.
If this makes no sense PM me and you can then call & I will try to help
