We have a potential probelm with a CTR? There are two benefactors on this CTR, with one having POA over the other. We are missing occupations and identification information on both because the teller overrode the CTR. Our problem is that the elder benefactor with POA has never drove a day in her life, and is doubtful to have a state issued ID. Since she has given someone else POA, is it necessary that the elder benefactor have indentifaction information to begin with? Maybe a simple question, but we are curious.

If you have a benefactor who was not present for the transaction, it is permissable to use "N/A" in the identification field. You should at least make an attempt to obtain an occupation.
