I'm sort of on vacation. The Old Man went fishing with the Boys, so I get to go out with the Goils. And I can go to the movies that he doesn't care to see, and I can have buttered popcorn with extra butter and no one will give me grief about it! (It doesn't take much to make me happy!)

The sign says Wet Ice Nanwa. I thought it was kinda cute.

EVERYONE HAS LEFT HERE except Suzie (BOL shy girl) and myself. I'm wondering if I should go too, but since everyone is gone...I think I'm the boss so I'll have to be responsible and stay

Dang it I wish I wasn't responsible! If some freak comes in about a levy I'm gonna tell him I'm the janitor.

Well I admit I didn't read all the other posts. My apologies. But being up since 3:30 AM, I really didn't care.

I'm back from 3 1/2 days in Hot Springs. Hey, you Arkansas folks -- what a gorgeous state! We were just blown away by the scenic beauty, as well as the friendliness of absolutely every single person we encountered in any shop, restaurant, hotel.

Dawnie would have loved one of the antique shops I visited. The salesman had a line of bull a mile long, but oh so convincing. He tried very hard to sell me an antique crown of aquamarines and amethysts that had once been owned by some member of European royalty. He almost had me convinced I NEEDED it!

Heh heh I love those guys. I found a great jewelry shop in P Town. The guys had such lines! I wanted to see a little victorian sword in seed pearls and they started singing a song about it's origination in the 17th century...blah blah blah....I tried not to giggle before I left.

So umm Mary Beth...you did pick up the crown right? I could use another....

It was tempting, but I left it for you. You need to visit Hot Springs!

I'll be on vacation next week, which means I'm in clean-up mode this week, so I'll probably only be by at night.

Yeah...I know....but let's just not go there right now, okay?

I'm joining the ranks of those on "Va-kay!" Whu-hoo!!!

A week in Maui with no thoughts of CIP, HMDA, Reg B, RESPA, or hopefully anything else that's been driving me crazy.

I haven't decided yet if I'll peek back in during the second week. Sorta depends if anyone want to have a beer, or split a Pick 6 ticket with me, or both!

I just got back from a week and a half vacation, and WOW, lots of messages to peruse! I went with a Venture Scout group to the mountains of Wyoming - fly fishing excursion for the Scouts. We camped near the Union Pass historical marker in the Shoshone National Forest. Beautiful location! Could have done without the mosquitos though!

I'm baaa-aaccckk. Wow. The Watercooler forum has 1700+ posts. I had 709 emails to go through. I feel like I'm eating an elephant.

I did it- I didn't read a single BOL post while I was on vacation. Honestly, I logged on Saturday (2 days ago), read 1 PM and then caught myself. I got off the interenet.

David - Was this really a vacation, or did you go to a BOL detox farm?

My elephant is getting smaller. I'm through the emails and on to the BOL posts. I have an over-flowing in-box, but I've got to get my BOL "fix" before I do more.

For week 1, we (my wife and 3 kids) pulled out camper to the Big Horn mountains, just west of Buffalo, WY (not far from IFish2). We fished, climbed mountains, etc. We saw 2 bull and 2 cow moose very close! Traveled back through the Black Hills.

Week 2 I slept in late, played with my kids, did a bunch of "honey-do's" and general laziness.
