That is exactly why we use parental controls on my son's computer.
People are just so stupid.

Then again, after I saw her picture on the article, she looks like a tramp, what kind of parent would let their 12 year old kid be dressed like that? Obviously, clueless ones.

The sad thing is, it looks like we have a trash kid from trash parents, and the little tramp is going to birth trash babies. And the cycle of Po'white trash continues until we sterilize them.
Some parents are just stupid and deserve what they get. Get with the program!

Sometimes I believe parents express themselves through their children.
I didn't have a daughter, but did have a son. If I had been blessed with a daughter I don't believe I would have allowed such dress and radical hair. Come on - what 12 year old (or teenager for that matter) doesn't look better with their natural hair color. Yes, I'm old fashioned I guess, but come on. Youth is beauty - remember?

I believe that kids can express themselves but there always need to be limits. To say that blanket statement about allowing to kids express themselves in my opinion is shortsighted. What parents need to do is to teach kids how to express themselves and understand the consequences. The parents also need to use tools like parental controls that DQ uses while still allowing kids to express themselves.

Crazy that parents would allow their 12 year old to 'advertise' like that. It does make you wonder what is going on at home that makes a 12 year old dress like a 'lady of the evening'??
Sometimes parents have to parent, as crazy as that is.

That young girl certainly looks like ahooker. I too wonder what her parents are thinking letting her dress like that. Thankfully I never had that battle with my daughter because there would have been a battle. She is 33 now and still doesn't wear that much make-up.
As Bacon said some parents are just stupid and they deserve what they get. But the ones that actually suffer are the kids of these stupid parents.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line

Too many parents think that instead of being a parent, they should be their child's friend and playmate. Kids need parents!!!! DQ's home will freeze over before my 11 year old daughter walks out of the house looking like this 12 year old. It is totally unacceptable and reflects a lack of sound judgement on the part of the parents.

Very nicely put, TR. Although drastic, I think the only way to assure all children are raised in loving and capable families is to regulate reproduction. Those caught defying the authorities premitting procreation would be sterilized.

At least the boy's father had the common sense to turn him in.

Those caught defying the authorities premitting procreation would be sterilized. But who choses? If you ask me, instead of rewarding unfit parents with benefits, we should be rewarding unfit parents who give up their children for adoption, and fit parents who chose adoption. Adoption is far too expensive in this country, and there is not enough regulation over who gets to be foster parents either.
