Way, way south.

I actually agree with JJ on that point, the spending of Bush among other policies sure didn't make him a conservative.

I mispoke. I said budget when I meant deficit.
As a side note to the "honesty" quip, still waiting for evidence of President Bush bowing to a Saudi royal.

but he did hug, kiss and hold hands while walking with a Saudi Royal Which may be considered "spitting upon" by a certain identity-confused poster.

I don't think any Bush budget was much over 4% of GDP. Conservative (not politically) estimates of The One's proposed budget is 14% of GDP. That's higher than WWII. If you add President Bush's 'emergency spending' and 'supplemental' spending requests back into the budget, what percentage of GDP do you get? Answer: Unreality. Your getting desperate now.

Let not forget that we are not following the same failed policies from the past 8 years we are following the failed policies of the past 16.

Now this is just getting silly. He asks questions, presumably to make a point and can't even provide the answer to make the point.

Signs seen at local tea party:
"I'm NOT a right wing extremist, but I'm willing to learn!"
and my favorite -
"We've been short-Changed!"

Yahoo has some really good prictures. My favorite was this large sign (about 8 ft tall)that said:
What's not in my wallet?
and it list all the crazy taxes.

Forgot one: "Congress - overspending & overpaid" I thought it was pretty gutsy of the Christian College Students group to be standing out there with posters that simply read, "Thou shalt not steal."

I hope this feeling of disgust with the liberals grows and in 2010 we see a turn back to the better conservative way of running things.
Hey Owe-BAMA - Can you hear me now?
