This race was on the show and after what happened with Dane, I can't imagine that they would risk it----no reason to, but they were stupid with the Dane race.

Running and riding everywhere ...
Good to know. I really liked Tara and Mike (when I was watching weekly). I'd be happy if either of them win.

I liked Mike enough...and I really liked Tara (And really thought she would win because she had done so well). . . but I was pulling for Helen all along. I really loved her.

When Helen first came out, and then Tara came out, I had a feeling Helen had a good shot. I think it was much harder at home for Tara than it was for Helen...I think that was Tara's downfall. (maybe a few too many nights on the town with her friends)

Anyway, it was a great season. I am always for cheering on someone to lose weight.

I was very happy Helen won! To weigh 117, and have lost 140 lbs! - she is less than half the person she used to be!

Yay for Helen!

(PS... I felt kinda bad for David. Daniel, however, still has a long way to go, but he has a good attitude and still lost like 140/150 lbs)

I was amazed at Helen with over a 54% weight loss. I don't remember anyone being that high (granted this season was longer than others). Mike did great losing 207 pounds and Tara losing 155. Mike and Tara's loss would win in most seasons.

Also amazing was the Grandfather who won the eliminated players prize of $100,000. He lost over 47% and he passed out the first hour in the gym on the first day and had to be taken to the hospital.

Great stories and a very good season.

Mike came up 5 pounds short of beating Helen and Tara needed to lose 6 more. Tara finished third---shocking. I guess home is tougher for her.

Anyone else think there was just something a little off with Grandpa last night??

Good for Helen though... she has lost enough though now, and I hope she realizes it! Just maintain and stay healthy now!

Yes I thought that about grandpa----a little off is a polite way of putting it.

I might have been that excited to be that healthy and to be winning 100000 at his age, I can understand why he was so perky.

Remember how immature Sione and Filipe were about not wanting to work with Jillian? - The "oh, poor me" thing - they just had to be with Bob.

Well, I saw on the news about an interview with Jillian. She said part of their problem was that they were like little misbehaving boys....She called them out for their antics and they didn't like her for it. (Waa waa cry)

Here's just a few examples of the things they did:
*They would sneak food all the time - take extra food from the house kitchen.
*They broke into the Kraft Food Service and stole food - (that food was for the film crew, directors, editors and trainers - not for the contestants).
*They would sneak off of the ranch campus in the middle of the night and go to fast food restaurants.

It was determined that since they wouldn't adhere to the rules, they were actually restricted. For example , they couldn't leave the campus on weekends to go freely into town as they others could.

I couldn't believe that they were given this opportunity... they got access to highly-paid trainers....their room and board was paid for...they got free medical care...etc. - and they would behave like children. Pretty obvious now why neither made it to the finals.

What do you wanna bet that they will be like a few of the other former contestants and gain much, if not all, of their weight back! (maybe not right away, but within the next two years)
crazy
