Pulling people out of the ditc...

Hope to be off tomorrow, so let's start now. I think the theme this week will be stupidity, as I'm dealing with a bunch of that. Share your stupid stories and drinks are free...
I have an employee that didn't process a $4mm weekly payroll file for one of our larger customers that has 11,000 payments within it...thought it could wait until today - which is payday. Fortunately a brighter employee caught this last night before we finished EOD and we were able to process it. I have a feeling today may just be his last day...not a good day...

I hope to be off tomorrow, too, Although we are finishing up a 3 week FDIC compliance exam I think your day may be worse than mine Happy.
Cheers - and I'm going to hold my stupid story to protect the guilty.

I will be in Chicago next month. You will find me on May 10th, sprinting through o'Hare trying to make a connecting flight with only a 40 minute layover between landing and departure. Anyone want to place bets on whether I make my flight? I've never been to O'Hare before.

For shame, Happy! For shame!

Promotion also means I get to quit my 2nd job- so no more evenings, no more 14 hour days, no weekends at either job- I am positively giddy! I won't have any more money then I do now, but I'll have a better boss, my own office, and time to actually see my family. Have I mentioned I'm excited?

Anyone want to place bets on whether I make my flight? I've never been to O'Hare before. Depends, are both flights with the same carrier? If so, you should be fine. if not- they have maps online- you need to find out which building your carriers are in to see if you will make it. If they are in different buildings- you won't. lol

Stupid Story #1 (yes there's plenty where that came from) - If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'......It was my fault that our customer was overdrawn because we had given her more checks that she had money..... We also had given her more checks than she had brains! Stupid Story #2 - Employee late....again. Not her fault. Because her child was playing with her ID and phone....again. Said child hid them....again. Do we see a pattern that might be preventable here?
Bloddy Mary please.

Anyone want to place bets on whether I make my flight? I've never been to O'Hare before. Just did that last week at O'Hare thomasj! I was with the same carrier, but going from a big airplane to a smaller one, therefore Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. Originally had 44 minutes to catch my flight, but 1st flight was late, so I had 24 minutes. Barely made it, they closed the door behind me!! I had checked the airport layout map before I left, so I kind of knew where I was going, but that didn't help me run any faster! Besides the fact that I haven't ran since early January due to my broken ankle!!
