If we have noticed we have typed the legal description on mortgage incorrect and we need to do a corrected mortgage this will have no impact on the HUD, correct?

The incorrect mortgage has already been filed. I just was not sure if this would effect the HUD in anyway if I needed to do a corrected mortgage. The description on the mortgage was just not the exact description on the abstract it was abbreivated or shortened.

Thanks

If you are referring to a fee you may have to pay to file your amended legal description needing to go on the HUD the answer is no.

That fee is not a settlement charge. It's a fee that the bank has to pay for their processor's foul up and IMO it should not in anyway be passed to the borrower. It's not their fault the bank messed up.
