I was happy with the four that went home. I wish Amanda would have been one of them, but I haven't been this happy about someone going home since Sanjaya.

Yes, I stood up and danced when Danielle Noriega was told he had to go home. Yes, he can sing, but his attitude is horrible, and frankly, I can't stand him.

It was interesting when they showed Danny boy in the early days, his hair was so much more "manly" then - wonder why he grew it out and chose the style he did?

so what's wrong with his style? He is different. He brought a breath of fresh air into a seemingly boring show anymore. So did a few others.

And really BF Danny can sing and perform- I really don't believe Sanjaya did that well. And again- Sanjaya was different- so what?
Do all males have to have that certain look for you?

Danny can sing, but perform??? No way. You had to listen to him with your eyes closed. Too bratty and obnoxious.

I understand you like the flaming boys. This is obvious by the photo in your avatar. However, the fact that he acts like he is "all that, snap" and is so obnoxious made me want him gone.

As for "he can sing and perform", I disagree with perform, unless you know something I don't, like he's straight and is manly and is just peforming as if he wants to be a woman instead of a man. His "performance" made me not only want to leave the room, but upchuck as well. And "he can sing!"? Maybe he can, and at times he did. However, he demolished "Tainted Love" because he was far more interested in acting out than hitting the notes and maintaining a melody.

flaming boys? HA! I like everyone. I don't happen to look at someone and just cuz they are different put him/her in a category.

Everyone butchered their songs a time or two. I'm sure more will as the show goes on.

Everyone has talent that was on that show. Like I said before good luck to all of them.

Way, way south.
That Danny character had THE WORST attitude of anyone on that show.

How about showing the judges some respect?

They are accomplished musical industry people, and they are giving you the opportunity to become a star.

A little gratitude for the opportunities you're given never hurts.

I caught the beginning of Idol last night.

Whatever made people think Blake would be an Idol, he was horrible.

but he could always have a career imitating sounds of machines and things, doing voiceovers, that sort of stuff

and I have to agree with pjs to some extent, these kids did their best

I wonder to what extent they passed Noriega through so that they would be some controversy to the show? It would be sad if they did that just to keep the ratings up

I agree. It was awful.

Glad Kady and Luke went home.

Kind of found Danny amusing, even if he does act like a little b@tch. Would've enjoyed laughing for another week or two.
Felt bad that Asia'h left, but I don't think she would've made it much longer.

I couldn't agree more. I would've preferred Amanda go home and Asia'h stay, I like her. But I'm SOOOOO glad Danny is gone.

So my top 3 guys are, in order, David Archuletta, David Cook and probably David Hernandez. So I'm liking all the Davids! For the girls, I have a tie for top, Brooke White and Remiele and then Carly 2nd.

Castro, Cook, Archuleta in that order for me.

I downloaded the song from AI over the snowed in weekend, and despite feeling like he had butchered it, when I heard it without the TV, and instead on better speakers, he actually was awesome.
