You are right, Doodles-they advertised that during Mondays episode...didn't take them long!

I enjoyed the four hour premiere as well but have to say this. When Jack was being interrogated wasn't he stabbed in the back with a long metal foreign object of some kind? He seems pretty healthy considering that and the knife to the shoulder.
Anyway, kick some ass Jack!

I think I saw in USA Today (yesterday) that they already have the 4 hour season opener available on DVD for $15.00. Might want to check that out possibly. I checked at Wal-Mart last night and found it for $8.94.

Thanks for the info. I bought the premier at Target Thursday night for $10.00 and watched all 4 episodes that night. It was great. But now I'm used to watching without any commercials!
Anyway, can't wait until tonight.

His brother is such a weasel-ly character.
The upcoming episodes should be pretty interesting as maybe we'll get to see why Jack is such a badazz and it seems like his family may be behind the reason he fights so much harder than anyone else.

So, let's recap...
Jack's brother is a flat-out evildoer who was quite happy last season to mastermind a plot that resulted in numerous deaths and the disgrace of the presidency.
Jack's mentor was involved in said plot and also killed Tony.
Jack's former lover Nina turned out to be a mole who killed his wife and trafficked with terrorists.
Jack's daughter is a terrifying vortex of large-breasted idiocy and vapid posturing.
I think that for the good of the nation, Jack might just have to go.
And don't even get me started on the fact that he's personally killed three of his co-workers (Nina, who sorta counts, Curtis, and Chappelle) and that anyone else who works with him and is not named Chloe is pretty much certain to end up dead sooner or later.

Please don't bad mouth Jack's daughter. She is wonderful until she talks or gets into some kind of mess.
That twist with Graham as his brother was awesome... can't wait to see where this goes. Was he in season 1? He mention's Terry, Jack's wife, and that he was around after she died.
Does anyone else think that Graham's kid is actually Jack's???

Does anyone else think that Graham's kid is actually Jack's??? I was thinking the same thing. Looks a bit like Jack, and with the look Jack gave his sister-in-law.........Said it all.

Yep, it looks like this season will have a Family Affair twist in it. Will Jack continue to torture his brother, or let him go? and will Daddy Bauer really be in with the terrorists?
Another season with a "weak" President......and his advisor telling the Admiral (or General) to quit interrupting the President, I don't think so....

No MB Guy, I don't ride. When we got our puppy, I trained him and when someone saw how well he obeys me, the comment was made that "he knows who the Big Dog is."
Plus I like the Big Dog clothing line. very funny T's

What a great twist.....I thought the same about the kid-blonde hair-what little hair daddy has left and Mommies hair is dark...
Leave it to Jack. Is that woman the same one that plays the paralyzed wife on Heroes?

Question: Is the new CTU chick the one that played Ferris Bueller's girlfriend???
If not, she sure looks like her....

So now its Graham Bauer in the driver's seat after he and his henchmen overtook Jack and Daddy Bauer. I can't believe Jack let them slip up on him, as well as the 2 CTU agents in the car who were murdered. Funny how Daddy Bauer is so tall, and yet the 2 sons are rather short. But judging from the previews, it looks like Jack is back and is in control of Graham, still looking for the 4 missing nukes.

I thought last night was a pretty weak episode, compared to last week's. I think it was a big setup episode. Next week looks like we'll have a return to some good action sequences.

Great episode last night. The meaningful glances between Jack and Graem's wife were awesome. There's so much backstory there, and I'm just itching to learn all about it! You're so right, Wacokid, the previews definitely were reassuring that Jack won't be in the evil clutches of his brother much longer & will soon get back to the business of finding the 4 nuclear devices....

I thought last night's episode was pretty weak as well. What the heck was up with Karen rolling over so easily to that weasel's pressure? And Jack went down awfully quick when that guy hit him in the back. So he can take 2 years in a Chinese prison and can handle being clinically dead twice in his life but he can't take a quick blow to the back. C'mon Jack, I had more faith in you.
Although, I'm pumped about the previews for next week. Last night should prove as a very nice set up episode.

Yeah, what the hell is up with CTU field agents? "We're in a national crisis and trouble ALWAYS follows Jack Bauer and he's tracking a suspect in that building, so if someone walks toward your car, just sit there and get shot." Bah.
And yeah, Karen rolled over way too easy. Once the Prez declined her resignation, she should have just stayed. Because then what would the Weasel be able to do? "President Palmer, since you won't take Karen's resignation, I now have to throw my trumped-up evidence in your face in a naked ploy to get rid of someone that you know is my bitter rival"?

OK, I totally didn't see what was coming in tonight's episode. All I can say is (1) the actor playing Pres. Palmer sux and (2) how 'bout Jack's daddy.......man-o-man...I wonder exactly what he's up to and why????
