When obtaining identification from new account holders, sometimes the address is different than the current address they are giving us. How can we validate that the current address is correct, and what documentation should we expect them to have to support the new address?
We have a customer that changes his address at least once a month, and he did it twice in one month this past time. What do you think he might be up to? Frequent address change requests are suspicious, but what do you think he could be trying to accomplish or hide?
Are we required to have the customer sign address change requests that are submitted via the online banking system, or is their acceptance of the agreement for doing transactions online sufficient?
