Acts of workplace violence seem to be increasing everywhere. What are the most current statistics regarding who commits workplace violence - and why?

Acts of workplace violence that stem from violence domestic relationships seem to be more common than ever before. We employ about 150 people and I know of two employees that are in abusive relationships. One of these employee's husbands has threatened to kill her and everyone she works with if she ever leaves him. How can people stay in these relationships? I know so little about this issue and I'm the credit union's Security Officer.

Our Security manager often doesn't get notified of a security event for days or weeks. By the time she gets information, the event is old news if she gets the news at all. How can we get information about security-related issues to our Security Manager in a timely way?

I have attended the Security Institute and have a question. Should security know if an employee is going through a foreclosure? In these desperate times people may become capable of desperate measures, but their personal privacy is also important. How do we handle this from a security standpoint?

Please provide a comprehensive list of the regulations that have "required training" stated, within the regulation. Also, I am looking for a suggested/required training list that would be applicable to ALL bank staff: So far I have sexual harassment, workplace violence, privacy, robbery, CIP, and BSA.
