New Credit Card Rules: Unfair Acts or Practices

The Federal Reserve, the Federal Trade Commission, NCUA and OTS have adopted a rule prohibiting certain credit card practices. The rule is issued under each agency’s authority under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act.
