FDIC Rescinds the 45-day Extension for Annual Report Filings

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation issued FIL-10-2022, which rescinds FIL-30-2020, which gave covered insured depository institutions (with $500 million or more in total assets) a 45-day extension for filing annual financial and management reports required by 12 CFR 363. As a result of the rescission, insured depository institutions are again required to file their annual reports either 90 days or 120 days after the end of their fiscal year, depending on their status as a public filer, beginning for fiscal years beginning after December 31, 2021.
